Microgeneration Certification Scheme
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approves installers of microgeneration technologies and the equipment they supply. Without MCS certification, it would not be possible for customers to claim incentives such as Feed in Tariffs.

REAL Assurance Scheme
The REAL Assurance Scheme has been set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business.

NAPIT
The National Association for Professional Inspectors and Testers, was formed in 1992 and have expanded their services to include the Competent Person's Scheme for electrical installations. NAPIT also certify installers for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) which operates under the authority of the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

GAS SAFE
Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. Gas Safe has replaced Corgi and by law, companies must be on the Gas Safe Register to carry out gas work in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and Guernsey.
