JPS Energy offer a full range of heating services including gas and oil central heating installations, servicing, repairs, Landlord’s certificates, etc. With Energy Efficiency in mind, we also supply and install condensing boilers with all relevant thermostatic heating controls. All system and combi boilers used by JPS Energy have a SEDBUK Band A rating, with a gross efficiency level of up to 97%. Our boilers are suitable for both new build and replacement applications. They can easily be installed in a cupboard or loft and look great in any kitchen. We can supply and install a combination boiler, KW output of up to 30 KW with a gross efficiency of 97% and a flow rate of 12.2 litres/min; and a system boiler with KW output of up to 66 KW with a gross efficiency level of 98%.

All of our installations are carried out to the very highest level of workmanship and customer care. Carefully sourced materials, chosen only from the leading manufacturers, e.g., Worcester Bosch, Viessmann, Valiant, Baxi, etc ensure that each installation is carried out using high quality parts and fitted by a CORGI Engineer. We can also design tailor-made heating systems to work with solar thermal, ground source heat pumps and other renewable products.
CP12 landlord certification
JPS offer landlords and property agents a complete gas safety inspection service across the North East. In 1996 it became compulsory for all landlords who rent part, or all of a property, to have all gas appliances and pipework checked and certified every 12 months. A JPS CORGI registered engineer will check the following during a Landlord gas safety inspection:
- Check appliance for gas tightness.
- Check standing and working pressure if test points available.
- Check burner pressure / gas rate against manufacturers data plate.
- Check for satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation.
- Test flue flow to ensure removal of products of combustion.
- Check satisfactory operation of all the flame failure devices.
- Check for physical stability, presence and effectiveness of stability brackets (where appropriate).
- Investigate any evidence of unsafe operation and report to a responsible person. An appliance can not be deemed as having been checked, until the above has been completed.
- For a Landlords Safety Record inspection a tightness test of the full system should be added to the above.
