Solar Hot Water systems are one of the most cost efficient renewable energy resources available. The technology is well developed with a large choice of equipment to suit many applications. You can create around 50% of your property's annual hot water requirements.

how it works
For domestic hot water systems, there are three main components:
- Solar panels or collectors
These are fitted to the roof and collect heat from the sun's radiation. There are 2 main types of collector. Flat plate systems are comprised of an absorber plate with a transparent cover to collect the sun's heat. Evacuated tube systems are comprised of a row of glass tubes that each contain an absorber plate feeding into a manifold which transports the heated fluid.
- A heat transfer system
Uses the collected heat to heat water.
- Hot water cylinder
Stores the hot water that is heated during the day and supplies it for use later.

Solar Hot Water Systems convert light into heat, which in turn creates hot water for your home saving you money and reducing your impact on the environment. Solar energy only needs daylight to work effectively.
JPS product packages
JPS offers a variety of perfectly tailored solar packages. The introductory package is a system with two collectors and a solar storage cylinder for heating water for a family of four people. The most comprehensive package with eight collectors and a solar cylinder can provide hot water and auxiliary heating for a family of up to eight people.
